10 – Notification Action Fallback System for Firefox and Safari

Notification Actions are a key feature of Push365, providing a unique user experience and great integration flexibility for organizations. However, –unfortunately– Firefox and Safari do not support notification actions in their current versions as of January 2026.

So, the users cannot see any action button when they receive notifications.

With this Fallback approach, notifications are displayed as simple notifications – without any action buttons. However, when the user clicks the notification, they are redirected to a public URL, where the notification data and available actions are displayed. When the user makes a selection, the required process is triggered in the background, just as if the action had been executed directly from the notification.
